Incoming calls can't hear me

I have an 8320 from T-mobile and have upgraded to 4.5(52 I think) and have had a few problems with incoming calls not being able to hear me, but I can hear them. It doesn't happen all the time...and if I call the person back, then they can hear me. I remember seeing another version of 4.5 with a higher number at the end of it. Would this fix it or does this just happen sometimes with the Curve?
 
This can definitely be caused by a firmware issue. If you do a battery pull, does the problem persist or does it eventually start occuring again?

I have had this happen to me a few times on my Curve as well a hard reset seems to always fix it and since upgrading my OS I haven't had it happen.~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~
 
I read a thread about this awhile ago but it was Verizon customers having the issue with Pearls:

another thread I read was saying everyone on Verizon was having issues, so by the sounds of it, the issue may be network related.
 
Hadn't really noticed if it was doing it after a reset or not...guess I'll have to check next time! But I probably will put in the newer version once I find it again.
