I want to see it again because I will enjoy it even more a second time. My cinema isn't showing it yet, though. I saw it in London on the 17th...wish I could go again already!

The score is amazing. I already have a copy it of.

I think I liked it, not sure yet.

It's a film for the mind rather than the heart. I suspect I'll be smiling more on Monday after I've seen Toy Story 3.

At the end of the day it's a film about corporate espionage - which always leaves me a bit cold to be honest.

Is it worth your entrance fee? Yes
Best film of 2010? Not for me.

shutter island was ready to come out last october. the studio moved it to Feb 2010

if it was any good at all they would have had it come out before the end of the year so it qualified for the oscars. this suggests even the studio think it is rubbish, which is a shame if its true

He's just reviewed it and gave it 2 and a quarter stars out of 5. I'm not even reading it, the guy clearly hates on things for the sake of it. It's like he's proud to have the oppoiste opinion to everyone else, no matter how retarded it makes him seem...

Mainly the bland, humourless characters with zero depth but the relentless special effects, one after the other, over and over again arent my cup of tea either.
Once I'd got past the ''Ooh this is a clever idea'' there wasn't anything else for me.

Harry Potter was delayed for a year, does that mean it's rubbish?

What about Princess and the Frog which was finished back in 2008?

The Road was delayed many, many times and gotten positive reviews from many critics.

Saw it last night and loved it.

Not really that complicated once it got going, once we saw what was happening it made more sense than the planning stage as the characters discussed what was to happen.

Very enjoyable and loved what they did with the ending!

Just saw the trailer to this, it looks soo freaking amazing!! I hope its one of those movies where it constantly keeps you thinking as to what might happen next and gives the unexpected....can't wait til July, definately going to give it a watch! :)

xxo

you and me both. the music probably added to it, but its like people think Bond is the only film that is allowed that type of score

I gotta admit i didnt see the cliffhanger bit at all, totally agree on the Roger Moore comment lol. I agree that people like to find reasons to bring down something that is universally praise just becuase it is not to their taste. Its amaizing what lengths some will go to. Like Nolan neeRAB to do a highlight reel lol. its not like he some fresh faced newbie!

there is always hope

After all the relative hype I just hope it doesnt turn out to be nothing more than a 21st century version of Dreamscape, with some elements of the Matrix and Dark City thrown in.

I actually have a lot of respect for sites like that where there is freedom of speech and where people can feel liberated to explore their ideas instead of being shut down and immediately labeled a conspiracy theorist just because they offer a differing or challenging opinion.

And I wasn't taking a holier than thou attitude at all, but directing a response to a poster who took that attitude towarRAB me because I don't know what I'm talking about not being in the film business.

I have a daughter who very much is in it, but does that make a difference to my overall opinion? Of course not.

As I've said before, and will continue to say it. These films are very predictive in their content. Therefore, somebody high up knows more than we do.....and not necessarily the cast or crew, who may well all be pawns and know no more than most viewers do.

It's all about opening your mind up to the possibilities as opposed to closing it down and calling everyone else a mad conspiracy theorist.

Anyway, I've said all I'm going to say and will leave you to it.

Enjoy the movie.....with an open mind, hopefully. :)
