Even if Mal was alive, Cobb wouldn't know that, right? So he could use it as his totem. But then again the theory about Mal being alive means that it's all her dream and then I don't even know if it matters, if he can or can not use it 'cause it's all someone else's dream anyway. Ugh, my mind gets tangled. I don't think I like that theory, though.

Fetch, fabulous art. I adored that line.

I think the whole point of the movie is to infer whatever the hell you as a person want to. Truly I doubt there is one real "answer" to the riddle of it as a film. I doubt even all the actors agree on it.

I just love the fact that I'm still thinking about it. So few movies have that lasting quality anymore. I saw it the sunday it came out and again the following sunday and a day has not passed that I haven't returned to it and run things over in my head.

I really liked The Prestige, but Inception was on a whole other level for me.

I saw it last night. It wasn't as amazing as I thought it would be.

I loved the directing, the fighting scenes. I think there is no rights (or one) answer what the ending meant. It could have meant that Mal was still alive and Cobb was stuck in limbo and the entire thing we saw was a dream, etc. It's also an ending that can make us doubt our own reality, what's real and what's not, when do we stop dreaming, etc.

The movie was rather slow in the beginning, the second half was much better. And it had a few funny lines, like Saito saying he bought the entire airline. :rotfl:

Eames was my favourite. Eames/Arthur were great.

Also: Didn't see any similarities between Lost and Inception other than the word limbo.

finally got to watch the movie last night. and i have to admit nolan is a freakin' genius. he wrote it and he directed it. it's so original that it just blew me away like matrix.

I've been a passive fan of Joey's since the 3rd Rock days. But (500) Days of Summer and now Inception totally re-lit my love for him.

I really hope there won't be a sequel.

it doesn't have to be a sequel to THIS movie though. they could easily run with the idea and expand on what inception is through any one of the characters created, because quite frankly, i preferred all of them to both mal and cobb alike.

Wow. I was completely blown away. Very rarely does a movie exceed my expectations, especially when there is SO much hype around it, but this one did by a gazillion miles. Chris Nolan really is a genius. Even though the intricate plot alone is enough to dub this movie great, for me, it really just boils down to the fact that it was just a freakin' fun ride. This was the best movie I have ever seen. As a viewer, I feel 100% satisfied. Can't think of thing that I would change or want more from it!

When I came out of the theatre, I was convinced that he was still in a dream. But after reading that wedding band theory, I'm behind it 100%! It makes sense because if you think about it, the spinning top was Mal's totem. When he and Mal were in their dream, he had to have his own totem for him to know that it really was a dream and I guess that was his ring! Brilliant!

He is great. When I see him I always want to re-watch 3rd Rock From The Sun all over again.

The most original in the past 1835383 years. I hope it inspires others.

This was the best movie I have seen in a long time. So oringal. I've been kinda bored by the movies that have came out this summer but this really restored my faith. It will be cool to watch it again.

When I was watching the movie, the first time Cobb told Ellen Page (forgot her name..) the story about him and Mal and how she was convinced that they were still in a dream after they had woken up, I thought that the big twist in the end would be that Mal was right and that she is now alive while he is still stuck in limbo. I guess that could still be true. Part of me is so frustrated and is just like "AHHH. JUST TELL ME DAMMIT IF IT'S A DREAM OR REAL" but another part is really enjoying this worldwide fan speculation and discussion. :)

I think a sequel would just ruin the ending of the movie. I like how..umm...profound it is

Thanks guys about the av

Stacey--I've been in love with JGL for so long but Inception has been one of his biggest movies I don't think many people knew about him so well until lately

 I haven't heard that Regina but where did you hear that?

That timeline rocks

My faves are Arthur, Ariadne, Cobbs, Eames and Fisher. Didn't really care for Mal.
