Oh thats quite an amazing theory cause I was all about it still being a dream last night and that Mal was right  that her falling kicked herself out of the Limbo or Dream. That she's not dead and in the real world

So he didn't have the ring on at the end? Whoa  I was so into the spinning top

LMFAOOO. this is too hilarious :lmao:

yea, i sometimes wished during their scenes that the creen will swicth to another, more badass scene already
but they played great!

btw, i've opened Arthur/Ariadne thread on Couples if anyone was interested :look:

On a side note: I love how so many has Inception related icons right now. :D I love Bella Grint's icon!

I feel like with this kind of speculation that its Lost in movie version :lmao:

ITA with that  The person who found that theory is brilliant, maybe if I had watched it 3 times I would have thought about it  It totally does it for me anyway

 I agree with this too! The only thing I didn't like about the Dark Knight was that in the final it seems like the other people (normal people) wouldn't understand that Harvey Dent was a bad guy but I think we all can understand that someone good can become someone bad as well as the contrary, for the rest I loved this film and thought it was very deep!

Hans Zimmer is the best in what he does, I understand why he's always chosen for the great movies!

Really my one regret about this movie is to not know what happened to Arthur and Adriane next...

Oh no, I was only saying that people were speculating about the movie so much that it's like the movie version of lost. There aren't any parallels really.

And the kids were also wearing different clothes too. 5 year old Phillipa was wearing a tshirt and both kids had different shoes on.

I also thought that the top was gonna fall when I saw this film for the first time. I just saw it the second time and I think I'm now even more confused about what theory to believe. The obvious one (that it was real) seems too easy so I keep torturing myself trying to figure out the "right" answer.

ITA And I doubt the popularity of this movie would be a deciding factor for him to make a sequel. He doesn't strike me as the type of person who would do a sequel just because it was so popular. If he has a story, feels it would be justified from a artistic POV, I think then he would do it.

I have to see it again with that "Mal is alive and it's all a dream" theory in my mind.

Yeah, me too. When I first started reading about this movie I was mainly excited because of the cast tbh. Then everyone seemed to be blown away with it and I had all these expectations but the movie was even better than that.
There are loads of great movies out there, but these days it seems like it's all adaptations, remakes, sequels, the same story just told in a different way... but this one was really refreshing.
The score is fantastic.

I was just reading that. I have to admit I hadn't noticed that detail. But I'm so going to see the movie again this weekend.
And really interesting about the casting of the kids.

Even if Mal is still alive I personally think that its still Cobbs dream :bunny: My theory is that yes Mal is alive cause she got kicked out of the dream by jumping and that she was right all along. I think Cobb is still under and is Limbo. Putting next put under just in cause not everybody has seen Shutter Island

[sp]So my thing is that its kinda of like his character in Shutter Island, he took Ben's character and made him his partner. So maybe the people of his team are people he either knew before or made up. So he's in limbo this whole time[/sp]

Good point about him waking up cause Saito was like YEARS older when Cobb found him, so how many hours/days must that have been. So no way that Cobb could have found Saito and be able to wake up exactly the same time as the others. So...my main theory is that its all Cobb's dream and he's in Limbo plus Mal's alive in the real world

I'm going to have to disagree  I don't feel like the theory is a cop out cause "its all a dream" opens up so many theories. Gosh, I've thought of a few and seen others. So I feel its ok

Yusuf was great  I liked Saito

:sigh: gorgeous art

I'm not really a fan of the "it was all a dream" theory. Just feels like a cop out to me  But I can see it - the ending was a bit weird.

BTW, I think people aren't giving Yusuf enough credit. Loved him.
