Inbetweeners Series 3 Discussion

Last week the three girl stars were on the cover of FHM. It's weird because Carly was only in 2 episodes and Charlotte was only in one this series.

I haven't enjoyed series 3. The only episode I thought was good was the one where Simon and his new girlfriend visited her sister. I hardly laughed at last night's episode. Hope the film proves better!

Funniest episode of the series by a mile!!! :D

Will and Simon cracked me up! :D Brilliant dialogue and absolutely outrageous situational comedy makes for one very funny show!

More like this please!

Jay is the best character on the show. They're all appealing and funny in their own ways, but Jay is the most prominent IMO. His lies have been shown to be a desperate effort to conceal his vulnerability and uncertainties, which the actor conveys with wonderful facial expressions. He's always being subtly (and unsubtly) undermined by his father. His ending to season 2 was a pivotal moment for the character.

As this is probably the final series I'd love to see Jay actually get some 'clunge' in the last episode. Or would that spoil it?

I didn't think last night's episode was as side-achingly funny as the previous two series, although there were some hilarious moments in it (loved Jay's Pat Butcher earrings!).

I'm hoping that the rest of the series ups it's game a bit from here though.

Yeah, Neil said something about how Jay used to play a "game" where he'd be shut up in a shed with his neighbour and he told Neil once the neighbour had moved away.

Yes, I think it neeRAB to be left there. The writers started to exaggerate the characters too much to keep the laughs going. The Jay revelation was a sad, although not big enough to cause real emotion..

Sod having a whitey at Glastonbury! Mine was bad enough when my mate stitched me up for my first bucket in his kitchen.

Still, it wasn't as bad as the time we were tripping and I thought the seagulls were Stuka's out to get me.:cry:
