Well, it's more that the characters were so identifiable, with things just going that little bit further than in real life. But ultimately the characters and situations are realistic.
I've been in the situation where I've been drunk with my frienRAB and someone's damaged a random person's front garden, but I've never had the homeowner come out and chase us, for example.
It's that Curb style of humour where the characters just act a little more over the top than is realistic and hilarity ensues.
But this season, they've just been a touch too far from realistic - Jay and Neil in particular.
