In wisconsin law what does it mean when a case is "adjourned for publication."...

...until a certain date? specifically when a landlord is suing a tenant that has abandoned a lease without paying.
 
In cases where the defendant can not be found to be served with a summons, the court orders the summons to be published in local newspapers.
Even if the defendant doesn't see it, it is still binding and a judgment can be entered when the case goes to trial and the defendant doesn't appear.
