in wii sports bowling, why does my ball always roll to the left?

no matter how i roll the controller, it always curves to the left, i guess the ball is getting spin?

i always have to compensate by aiming to the right with the a button

well, i did figure out a way to get strikes/spares 90% of the time, i just move the guy all the way to the right (but not in the gutter) and throw the ball

me and my gf have the same problem so we move like 4 spaces over and will get a strike or pick up the spare. Right before you throw the ball twist your wrist it will either do nothing or spin the ball the right. I would twist my wrist left and the ball would shoot right but when my gf tried it she was opposite. So thinking right away 1 of us is set to left handed we restarted and tried again but still same outcome so dunno just have to find what works for you.

Hint: If you want to throw it straight, just hold on to it too long and you'll loft it really high. I can rarely throw it straight if I don't do it that way.

The curves are based all on you

I can spin it left or right at will

well, yeah
but it would be nice if it would save your previous position. i always have to do A button + 2-3 clicks before i throw the ball

Are you serious?

Move over to the right, about 2 steps away from the edge.
Spin it to the left just before release
????
Profit

Have you tards never gone bowling..look at a bowling alley, you will see it is 2 different colors about half way down. That is where the "waxing" starts. They wax the floor for the spin. If you throw it normal, it will spin, if you want NO spin, instead of releasing the ball near the floor, release it near your waist, or even higher on the follow through. This will "throw" the ball farther down the lane and not spin much at all.

For right spin, tilt the wiimote to the right, as if turning a key, but with the wiimote, to the right, as you roll the ball.

No. Not at all. I can 100% guarantee I can get a spin in EITHER direction releasing the ball at any time (as long as it has enough velocity)

Anyone have trouble with this has no concept of how to get a spin on the ball in real life.

Try holding the ball sideways next time you go the bowling alley and see how that works out for ya
