A PhD in physics and research in astrophysics could get you there. So could a PhD in astronomy or astrophysics, but be sure to take a lot of physics as well. I'm getting a PhD in physics and studying astrophysics for my dissertation (early universe cosmology) so I guess I'm doing all of it - and a PhD in physics makes you a lot more employable than a PhD in astronomy. So major in physics in college, take classes in astronomy, math, and computer science, and find a university with a combined physics and astronomy program for grad school.

Astrophysics & Cosmology in Detail? Please answer if you have achieved a degree in Astronomy or you are a university in charge of Astronomy.

NOTE:- I want to study all three at one go here in the question so my question is in which subject should i take a PhD to master all three subjects?

My daughter who is being recruited by schools for her doctorate has found that at most schools you roll your own doctoral program. The course work depends where your research is taking you. And the research program of the school is going.
