In UAE (Dubai) do they have a simillar education system?

In the UAE (Dubai) do they have a similar educational system to England, such as having the AS/A2 level in college etc.
i was wondering because i seem to have a friend in Dubai and she told me that they have AS Level over there. so im just wondering if it is true or not

Jumeirah College follows the National Curriculum for England. Students are prepared for the Key Stage SATs, GCSE examinations, AS and A2 levels, and ultimately for universities of their choice
Schools.
