Struthers want Kenny? Okay,I feel a bit dumb asking this because I kind of think I should know... but...
In the South Park episode "Starvin' Marvin in Space" in season 3, the CIA people give Kenny to Sally Struthers. He is later shown encased in carbonate on board her spaceship (I'm aware this is a reference to Star Trek, however my knowledge of Star Trek isn't great).
Why would Sally Struthers consider a carbonate-encased Kenny a "gift"/how would that help her? I've watched the episode zillions of times before now and just never really thought about that, but I was watching it again last night and this detail/what the link was confused me.
I was wondering if anyone knew of an explanation/the details of the Star Trek reference (if that might explain it?)
P.S. I'm aware that Matt & Trey aren't overly concerned with continuity and things making sense, but if I've missed something that [is] there I'd like to know. :-/
