In the Sims 2, if I move my whole house... Will everything stay in tact?

For example, I worked hard on my house. The structure, the paint, and the furniture. I think you can move the house into the bin, family and all, but will it stay completed? Or will everything be converted into Simoleans?

And I mean move the house AND the family, as one piece, and keep all my furniture and items when I move them to a new town...
