In 'The Picure of Dorian Gray' what is in the note Dorian gives to alan campbell?

I know it doesn't mention it in the novel, but I was puzzled as to what it could be.
Alan was adamant in not helping Dorian, but as soon as he read the note he changed his mind.
What could have been so bad?
