In the highly advertised media news, a "Mexican National" American Marine was

allegedly accused of raping, murdering and decapitating another female Marine. The suspected murderer has supposedly, as he runs from the law chasing him for these crimes, escaped to Mexico.

When the term "Mexican National" is used ...does this mean this man, who is an American Marine Corp soldier is in fact/reality a Mexican citizen and has apparently gone back to his country.

I have heard that the USA allows people from other countries to fight in our military. Is this true? How can the USA justify hiring a non citizen to fight for us?
Daniel f: I ask about this one cuz it's NOW news. Also, I GUESS the USA hires non citizens to work in the service. THAT's scarey to me ...cuz when you do this ...they run back to Mother country when they do wrong ...and GET AWAY WITH IT! Wonder how that girl's family feels? Not much different than the family who's Father was killed by a drunk illegal, I would imagine.
