In the context of Western Civilization, can Islam EVER be acceptable?

You see we believe in secular democracies.... Muslims believe that Islam is first before ALL.... That means they can never put country before religion... That means sooner or later Western Civilizations will have a choice to make... Right or Wrong?
 
I think that everyone can live together harmously as long as we respect everyone's right to worship their gods, I must repect you even you don't look like me or don't believe in my God.

Islam teaches that one should be obedient and patriotic towards one's country but if that country persecutes them or tries to force them to believe against Allah, they should leave.
 
I'm an atheist, so I don't understand ANYONE subjugating themselves to any religion.
However, Islam is just as acceptable as any other religion, if that's what people want to do.
However again, ALL people must accept that their faith, whatever it is, will never be the official faith of the US.
 
Yes, Islam is compatible with Western civilization and its religious freedoms as long as extremists do not try to turn our democracies into theocracies.
