Are you sure it's caused by your back? There is a condition called Periformis Syndrom if you do search on it you'll find that the impingment of the sciatic nerve causes the same pain but from all the therapy i'v had i'v been taught that the nerve neeRAB oxigen therefor slow stretches are good as well as core. Exercises you can even use the Salompa patches I believe their called, they smell like BenGay but work better, I plased them on the areas of the sciatic nerve that hurt before bedtime to guerantee me a good nights sleep and one time I ran out of meRAB and used the patches instead to the gym and there I was going up hill strolling full speed on the Treadmil and all of a sudden I look down and a patch had fallen out of my pant leg and into the side of my shoe!
So I stopped the Treadmil to go to locker room and all the way there I left a trail of (wait for it.............) yes, mentholated patches!!!!! That was the last time I wore them out but they work for up to four to five hours and can be found at a pharmacy.
