Absolutely. Maybe it's because I've listened to so much garbage over the last couple years that my ears are finding hidden meanings that don't exist, but pay attention to this new breed of rappers coming out. I can't really explain it well, but it's something to do with their musical bravery/creativity/not caring about any boundaries. Combine that with really good lyrics, and as I said earlier, I haven't been this excited in a long time. But the two guys I'm really looking out for are Jay Electronica and B.O.B. Electronica has the craziest lyrics and B.O.B.'s creativity is endless (when I first listened, I thought he was just an Andre 3000 clone - but the more I listen to him, his storytelling and punches define him). I mean, just listen to these song:
