OK so I am sad but I have been watching the repeats on Challenge. On the closing credits it gives Alan Didicoat as "Voice of the Balls". I have only heard Dale's voice as the balls run. Alan only introduces Dale Winton at the start of the show.
Is there somerthing I am missing here or Alan's voice been edited out???
 
The lottery draw is always live, voiced by Mr Dedicoat. The rest of the programme is recorded (at Pacific Quay in Glasgow) and Dale links in and out of the draw (note he never names the person doing the draw in case it's changed at the last minute). I haven't seen the repeats but assume they edit-out the draw.Presumably AD simply recorRAB the intro.
 
Oldbod, I've been watching some of these on challenge and noticed this
He does appear to only be used as an introduction for Dale. Assume it
just costs too much to alter credit from voice of the balls to just voice of etc

Also have you,anyone else, noticed that a lot of the multiple choice questions
are also used (and in the same order) on EggheaRAB?
 
I never thought of the lottery balls...I thought the thread was about the coloured balls used by the producer to show who was the next contestant.
 
Until recently thats how I knew where the Kyber pass was LOL

The guy with her wanted to say the correct answer, his body language was brilliant when he sat down and then walked off, he would have won some money but for that blond bimbo, serves him right I suppose.
