Well lets put it this way. There are 208 countries that belong to FIFA. There are only 192 countries in the United Nations. So the World Cup is broadcast in just about every country in the world. It has an audience of over a billion viewers. The last super bowl had an audience of about 92 million. That's not even in the same ball park as the World Cup.
