Way to screw up to promote Kanon, FUNi.

I don't like the fact that it aligns to Air too much, and everytime someone mentions that it's mo

I cant agree with you any more..

This is a thinpack complete release..and its retail is 70$?

Ughh..maybe a retail of 45$ tops..but 70$?

My bet: Key is forcing certain price points to thwart reverse importation/to rip people off.

If you're worried, wait for the Veridian or look for a preorder deal.

"Hey, nice package!" is the name of the blog right? So why is it titled "Anime DVD Reviews" (a very misleading title)? Anyway, good to see more of this, especially now that it's in HD, even if its nothing I'll be buying this time.

Too bad HD-related stuff won't play well on my laptop or I'd check this out.

Any special reason this just happens to be all Kyo-Ani related material? I'm not bashing or anything, just curious.

Yeh, ill probably wait for the viridian..
But its weird, why release a thinpack of the show for 70$? Why not just go straight to viridian for cheaper..I mean, if it ever does get released on viridian (which it probably will) it will probably have the same packaging, just possibly stripped features.. but still, thats 25-30$, which makes a big dent in potential buyers.

Yeh it is pretty weird, the last 2 episodes have not mentioned "nice package".. Maybe the title was changed due to it being..a little "missleading"..

either way, its still weird, hope funi fixes it.

Kanon is another case where I have the original out-of-print release and don't want to spend any money to save some shelf space, but the art is gorgeous as usual. All I can say is to keep it up; Funi has really gotten great at attractive packaging.

Yeh its attractive, and it does save space...

but the box itself is very flimsy, if your not delicate, the box wont last most viewers that long before getting crushed and/or bent somehow..

but still, the artwork does look really pretty.

Yeah, but at the beginning of this episode, Lance calls it "hey, nice package", despite the title and description having no mention of that. If nothing else, that title was clever.
