I have Gimp 2.4.5. I am working on a scrapbook type project and want to put a few pictures on a page and be able to move them around. From what I can do right now I can add one layer to the background layer but I have to anchor it to add another layer, making it unmovable. If I screw something up I have to undo a bunch. Am I missing something here?
Should I just say that this is a lame program (pun intended) and just get Photoshop?
@imasexybeast: When I add a third layer it puts it smack in the center on top of the whole thing and the second layer is still highlighted but I cant do a single thing at all whatsoever without anchoring the second layer first.
