anything that does not survive at least six month in you area. YOu can find a planting zone map by searching online. Most in the northern east that give problems are celery, cilantro, parsley, and some that seem to be of the same type of plant. For the most part large vegetables are hearty and can live as long as the temperature does not fluctuate to much, from day and night. Most of your problems will be bugs damaging the vegetables. DOn't use pesticide because it will get you sick and the bugs will build tolerate to it aether way. good luck

i think that potatoes are the easiest but im sorry that i dont know any that are hard to deal with!

To be honest, most standard garden vegetables are fairly easy to grow and take care of. I find if you seed your own, things like celery are difficult because the seeds are so tiny and you need to separate the seedlings out.. Same goes for cabbage and broccoli.

Sometimes pepper seedlings can be finicky as well.. but as a general rule most vegetables are fairly simple to deal with. I wouldn't suggest staying away from anything particular. Just plant whatever you like and think you will use, you should do just fine!
