in fish need help please?

Sure. I have better luck using the rough/larger side of the grater, and it has always been easier for me to do the grating while it is frozen and simply let it thaw after.

would it be allright if i grate frozen scallops. just scallops nothing added and feed to goldfish or tropical fish once they have thawed.as a treat
 
Goldfish are vegetarian (more or less) and may not benefit from meaty treats. Also some seafoods shouldn't be fed raw to tropicals, this has to do with the presence of certain vitamin compounds in raw marine animals that can be fatal.
I guess what I'm saying is that this forum is the wrong place to look for definitive advice on a subject that requires something more than a passing interest in fish food. Try to find some real expertise.
