T Tim H Guest Mar 17, 2008 #2 Fill the 5 gallon jug Hold the three gallon jug over the tank and pour the 5 gallon jug into it. 3 gallons will be caught by the 3 gallon jug and 2 gallons will go into the tank. Repeat these steps to get 4 gallons.
