Interesting Mr. C. Personally I see Dark Matter as large amounts of space coiled up, it has gravitational effect, but its the source of our expanding universe. I do see that yes they would become more red as time goes by then. But have we noticed this continual shifting? Has it been measured? Does this equate to the acceleration of the universe?
And Orac thats exactly what I'm questioning. Of course I cant see more than 1 galaxy with the naked eye. But can our results be scewed by forces of the universe we dont know yet? Can we be given false readings, if they are the only readings we're going off of?
