...even if there is enough seats? alright so i was waitlisted on my math class at college of the canyons in santa clarita, california. i went to the first 3 class meetings, each time everyone showed up and there was a seat for everyone. just recently i was told by the professor that the first x-amount of student on the waitlist is in and the rest is out. i was one of the few that didn't make it in. i had emailed my teacher after seeing if there was anything he could do to let me stay in the class since there are enough seats for everyone and he replied by saying:
"The class limit for the course is 35 students. There are currently 39 enrolled in the class. I am over the course limit and I don’t plan to add more students. The number of desks and the course limit are often different numbers."
How is it that they put a limit of students in the class when there is clearly room?
