In Clean House with the Dragon family, didn't they ask what colors she likes?

I missed the whole middle of the show, but one of the things the mom freaked out about was the color they painted the wall? Surely the decorator's professionalism would have been to ask first?

Also, did they say if she was divorced? If so, could her being crazy have been a cause?
