In checking references for Secret Clearance, will the Military ask about past

then don't use her as a reference.

and if you did, they don't ask your references about homosexual acts.
 
homosexual acts? or for future Top Secret clearance checks. What if the information is volunteered to them by whoever they call when checking references? Is that incriminating? I'm not gay - I was just a lil bi curious in college, and I don't want an angry ex roommate trying to pull the Don't Ask Don't Tell card if they call her.
 
For security cleranences invetigations, you WILL be asked about homsexual activity.....

The military doesn't do the investigation intself.. it just issues the final clearance basd on what the FBI/OPM/CID find
