a double yellow line? I was on a highway in California and the car in front of me stopped and put on its blinker as we were going 55 mph downhill. There was no break in the lines (gap between the lines for an entrance or exit) and I can't find anything on this anywhere. Obviously it would have been o.k. to make a right hand turn, because you wouldn't have to cross traffic, but this car just came to a complete stop in the middle of the highway and turned!!
In California is it legal to make a left hand turn into a driveway going across
