I have a bike and recently purchased a trailer to haul my son around town in; I haven't yet made it to the bicycle store to get him a helmet - but I'm wondering, is he required to wear a helmet?
FYI: He is 17 months of age, so he's old enough to properly hold his head up with a helmet on.
Also - what other accessories would you recommend for safe trips around town? Should I look into a mirror that attaches on the handlebars? A horn or flashing lights?
