Since we're all apparently going to agree that the quoted study is valid, let's take quotes from the study (emphasis added):

Yeah.... I think "hundreds of billions" may be a slight exaggeration, but the point still stands.

I still think they should just sell citizenship. Like as long as you pass a background check and have $5000.00 you can be a citizen. Better for us to get the money than the coyotes.
 
by the time everything is said and done, it costs way more than 1100 dollars to become a citizen or to immigrate legally. thats one reason why there are so many illegal immigrants.

lets make the problem worse by having it cost more. makes perfect sense.
 
I'm fucking sick of the "jobs Americans won't do" bullshit. Who the fuck are these people to say I won't do the jobs that are currently being done by illegals? I'm unemployed right now, if I can't come up with $600 by the end of the month I'm gonna have nowhere to live come July 1st and I'm gonna have to move into my van and live on national forest land. There is nothing that sounds more appealing right now than any minimum wage 40hr/week job even if it's cleaning toilets or picking up roadkill, but after applying at literally hundreds of places over the past 2 months, even a place that cleans up murder/suicide scenes, I still haven't gotten jack shit for work, so don't fucking tell me that I'm just choosing not to take certain jobs because I don't want them - any job an illegal will do, I'd be happy to do myself.
 
I'm sick of people who approach every situation that they cannot deal with 'from the hip' with expressions like 'I'm sick of bla bla bla complication'.

No, I'm sick of it because it's not even a valid argument, it's just a stupid and false claim, with evidence against it right here, me being an American born citizen who is willing to take (and fruitlessly attempting to get) ANY 40hr/week minimum wage job, including landscaping, janitorial, whatever.

If you think you can somehow form a coherent argument to prove that I actually won't take a lanscaping or janitorial job, I'd be happy to hear it.

- Denial/proof that illegals pay as much as they use

I dont hate illegal immigrants or immigrants, I hate lazy people who leech of the system. Whether your hear legally according to the govt or not, if you're pulling your weight you're fine by me. You could be 10th generation american and if you're having babies to get bigger welfare checks and selling food stamps to buy cigs I want to punch you in the gut.
