In all Honesty, how is my Poetry?

I've been thinking,
of putting down the pen,
to finish a chapter,
that may even have yet,
to begin.

I've written things,
On my computer,
and online.

Sometimes they make sense,
while lots of it never really,
rhymes.

I sound like a child,
but really am an adult.

Do I dare continue,
or do I just let go?

I think the concept is good.
However, several tips include working on the rhythm of the poem becuse the number of syllables make the poem sound awkward when read aloud. And you might want to be more careful with the use of diction to widen interpretation. Sometimes, it does well to be secretive.

other forms, (except the sonnet...i cannot sonnet..) help get your mind moving

what few i've caught, are good.
I'm not good at rhyming
but I do enjoy playing with words

keep on...i'll keep a look out for ya!
 
if you want to write
nothing will stop you
and it will be painful
and some will say things unpleasant
but persevere and be yourself
and in time you will write who you are
and when that day comes
the weight of their words
shall sink in the shallows
as the glory of your words
will carry you above the fray
 
HM, I think you Need to write,,,,sometimes as an outlet,,,
so write, journal, create, play.
Your interests will lead you if is is to be to more formal forms of poetry;
or who knows, you may find yourself self in flowing words, or songs,
stories of sorts.
To me, it is important that you keep on writing, ,,,,,

make yourself fit into the given form and when you come back to the freestyle it will be soooo much freer for you.

She knocked out one hell of a good poem and she is only turned 14.
I have watched her now for a year.. and she keeps getting better.. so can you...
