...ball outside the box? Basically, I'm wondering - if (for HIGH SCHOOL rules) a goalie uses his/her hands to block a chip over them outside the box would that be a red card offense? (Being that the goalie was the last defender at the time.) The opponent not actually taking a true shot on goal, but trying to chip it over the goalie and the goalie diving and blocking it outside the box. For high school soccer game rules is this a red card offense? I heard that normally it's a yellow card offense but I'm not sure. And also, if the goalie gets the red card and the ref reports it to the high school league, how many games in the future would you not be able to play in?
