My husband is an E4 in the Army and we're expecting our 3rd child. Lately, no matter what's been going on, our account ends up in the negative. Just when we think we have everything calculated, something else comes out. I don't understand. My personal opinion is that maybe we're trying to maintain a lifestyle we can't afford. My husband doesn't like to hear me say this because he doesn't want to have to give up certain things that we have. Like for instance, we have a 72" tv that we pay on every month, I feel like we need to let it go to relieve some of our financial burden, but he keeps trying to assure me that everything will be back on track soon, when it won't. I also own a car which I'm willing to sell, but he says we need the 2nd car so he won't let me sell it. I was recently babysitting for $60 a week (I'm desperate) and now the baby will be going to daycare since I will have my baby soon. I really need some help. I'm desperately crying out. I feel so helpless in this situation. We were doing so well and all of a sudden we're going under badly. We can't get foodstamps or any other government assistance, and my husband has too much pride to go to ACS for assistance, for fear that they will tell his commander. Please give suggestions, advice, even criticism....maybe I need a slap in the face for letting things get this bad. Thanks so much~
