In a black and white photo, how do you get one thing in color?

I need to make a flower in one of my photos the only ONLY thing that is color. And the rest to be black and white. I have only a MAC APPLE computer, and so I only have iphoto. I'm not sure if there is another application for photos, but I doubt it.
Please help! thanks!
 
You can get a image off of Google, (I'm not sure how your program works) Using the selector -what ever it's called- Outline the flower.
Then Add a new layer on to your Black and white photo and Copy and paste the flower onto it.
