...team's score, which is x? What is the difference in the scores? (Emphasis on this line, I think this has to do with why I'm wrong
I thought the answer was 1/2x-2 but it isn't.
Apparently the answer is 1/2x+2 (I checked in the back of the book), but I do not understand why
