In a 2001 chevy blazer, is the headlight connected to the electrical window somehow?

my headlight goes out, and then the window stops working too, on the driver side. I believe there is a wire short somewhere, and not sure how to get to it. Haynes manual sucks. It looks like it will be a long job too.

wel do have a short yes but window and headlight wire shouldnt be anywhere clsoe to get other really so finding it wil be a bear and might be better if you take it to a shop for that one

The connection may be a shared ground. It is hard to say without looking at a schematic. Check all the basics fuses, battery connections, and a good visual on everything you can see. While working the circuits wiggle harnesses to try and narrow it down. Yes, I agree Haynes manuals are just on the leaning side of worthless for wiring repairs. Good luck.
