In 1996 Pontiac Firebird Convertible, are there any problems i should be scared of?

i am looking for a firebird and found one with 89000 miles on it, new transmission and new engine was put in a year ago. current miles are 89000. and its a convertible. the guy is asking $3400 final. is that a good or a bad deal?.. car is in good condition.

Pontiac Firebird thro a nice looking car was prone to problems just about every one made had some kind of problem but they was easy to work on and has you have said motor and trans both have been redone once you know what im saying they was all bad but the first few made late 60's early 70's and they when down hill they got faster but problems...id have to really check it out for signs of problems oil leaks what works and what dont you know uneven tire wear oilleaks of any kind tail pipe for black if it has any one of i wouldnt get it.. but i never did like them anyways fords have always done me better than any Pontiac... i always had transmission problems
