IMVU age verification (outside of the US)?

Seems only mods can post in the "questions" section of the forum so I will have to post here.

As with most American organizations, IMVU as usual, has made it much harder and unfair for international users by forcing us to do things such as "PRINT/FAX/SCAN/SEND/MAIL/DONATE 7.5 PINTS OF BLOOD" just to get age verified.

It is as simple as this, I do not have access to a scanner, and I'll be damned if I am going to buy one just for this alone.

I have my drivers licence, and British passport, both valid forms of I.D, but I can not send copies, I mean how "beeping" inconvenient can you get "send us a copy of your passport", sure, I'll send it as soon as we get real life copy&paste at the push of a button.

I am saying this even before I buy an AP and try to get age verified, after looking into it, it is something I want to do, but seems more effort than it is worth.

I do not have access to a scanner, does this mean I can not be age verified?

I long for the day Americans invest in a thing called equality.
