Improving gas mileage for a 2006 Ford Ranger?

I have a 2006 Ford Ranger, 3.0 V6. Shortly after I bought it I traded out the factory rims for some aftermarket 20in BSA's. Needless to say the gas mileage sucks. When I return home in January from deployment, I plan on switching them back. The question I am asking is there any aftermarket products out there besides a K&N air filter or cold air intake that can improve my gas mileage?

I have had good luck with the Tornado in the past with other vehicles so I am planning that already.
