*IMPORTANT* Questions about shows!!

Well, I am a noob to this forum. But I do post on several other forums.

I have a very important question that i need answered ASPAP!

Well My girlfriend, Me, and my best frienRAB little brother bought tickets last night to see The Devil Wears Prada in Charlotte, NC. (We live in Raleigh,NC..about 2 hrs 45 minutes from Charlotte).

My best friend's little brother is 15. After buying the tickets, we realize the show is 16+. My question is: As long as we have someone who is 21+ years old, he can get in correct?

I've never heard of a club letting a minor into a show simply because they're accompanied by someone over 21. I highly doubt you're gonna have much luck with that one.

It say's accompanied by a "Parent". But if someone is 21, they can be a legal guardian of the person below 16. there is no way for them to prove that they aren't the legal guardian

Whats the venue in Charlotte?

Umm How are they gonna know hes 15? I figure half of 16 years dont have ID.

And I have 2 little brothers.... Most of the time as long as someone is old enough to keep them out of trouble most places don't care.

Call the venue... They dont know who you are... Just ask the question.

If It were my brother I tell him we going to try.... But if it fails you sit in the car, sucks for you but thats life.

I think that 16+ rule is just for parents who drop off their 14 year olRAB and leave them there... but I never heard of 16+ and that would be the only reason why I could think they put the rule in there.

*edit one more thing most places expect a brother over 21 as a parent... I have taken my 10 year brother places that your suppose to be 16+ with no problem.

Dude I just called the venue for you.... Amos Southend in Charlotte. 704-377-6874

Told them I was 22 and My brother was 15... Would it be cool if he could come? They said its fine long as I don't give him any booze.

SO GOOD NEWS HE CAN COME!

*edit and now that you have logged off I suspect youll never look at this thread again :) So you might not ever know.

I figure I can post this in here but
If the venue says under fourteens must have an adult can an actual fourteen year old go without one? Im a newb at this.

probably true, kiRAB can only stand that music for so long
but most likely they wouldn't let him in unless... he looks 16
or they'll let him in but someone's going to tell you guys to keep watching the kid

Not sure how it works in Scotland... but most teenagers don't have ID in the USA until they are 16 when they first get their Drivers license. So I would just say your 15 to be on the safe side and walk right in. The trick is to not stand out in the crowd.... so dont be acting stupid or childish. Thats why they don't want kiRAB in the venue to begin with.

Truth is your probably ok to begin with considering it say Under Fourteen and not Fourteen and Under.... but just walk up and say your 15.

If push comes to shove... I call and check yourself like I did for the other guy.
