Important question regarding the military...USMC/USAF?

If I don't get what job I want in the USAF...should I retake the ASVAB (AFQT 70)? Or even if I have a high GT/EE score, it depends on the availability of the job? If I the USAF had no available slots for me, could I go sign up with the USMC instead?

It's because if I'm not going to get the job I want, shouldn't I then go to the branch I like the most? When I sign up, I'll have 30 college credits and if i were to go USMC, I was thinking of finishing up my AS degree when I'm off duty with an MOS in communications. And I could possibly study for a Bachelor's on my free time...although it would take longer, but I wouldn't mind.

Would it be worth it if the USAF put me in the DEP if I were to get the AFSC job I want? My credits would AUTOMATICALLY be transferred to the CCAF as opposed of having to wait a while in the USMC to finish up my AS.

Which way is better?
Also, I want to get out of here right away b/c I can't stand my family.

You are not obligated to the Air Force until you sign the papers. If they will not give you the job you want you can always walk away and join another service. If you did get the job you want then you should take it.

Yes it would be worth it. Go ahead and be a dumbass and sign up for the marines though if you don't want to wait. Just to let you know if you decide you don't like the AF the marines will take you after your enlistment not vice versa.
