Implantation bleeding or screwed up cycle?

My period is due like the 15th, which is next week, however on the 9th, I started bleeding. I assumed it was my period just starting really early, but this bleeding only lasted about two -three days, and the third day was hardly nothing. My normal cycles normally go for about 3 days heavy, then I stop for about a day, then I start back for the remainder of the cycle and then theres a few days of dark brown discharge, then I'm done. This time I started on the 9th, bled for two days no where near as much as normal, but it looked like my normal period blood, and then it stopped like always but it's never started back and no brown discharge, just no trace of it at all. It's weird. I had the stomach flu the sunday before I started on tues the 9th, but was over it the next day. Could this possibly be implantation bleeding or just a weird cycle from being sick??

I posted this earlier and only got one response so I deleted it. It was an excellent response but I want more than one opinion. I am posting it again but under a different category.
