Impacted wisdom teeth hurt SO BAD. Is it a good investment to my health to pay out...

I am a junior in college, living on my own with no ties to family because of an abusive situation I left. I got cut off from their insurance. Medicaid gave me a high deductible because of my job that pays well. However, they laid me off recently. I have another job that pays little and student loans to pay rent/cell phone bill now.
So I called the oral surgeons that offer I.V. sedation within a 60 mile radius, and of them they are public university hospitals and one that is very shady (I've visited). The public hospital I went with assigned me a surgeon with 6 months of post dental school experience.

I have four impacted teeth, possibly abscess forming. I can't risk a bad procedure and further visits so I chose a surgeon in my city with a good reputation that is charging $2,500ish. I can set up a Care Credit account or pay up front. I'm not sure whether or not to set up Care Credit (read bad reviews online about them) or to pay up front. I have no credit history and have been living on my own for nearly 8 months. However, I am ready to have the painful teeth taken out, and feel very comfortable with the surgeon I chose. What do you think?
