I've had my iMac G5 for 5 years and I have always been able to import video from my Sony Handycam into iMovie HD via the firewire connection. Starting yesterday, when I connect my Handycam, iMovie HD says "No camera connected". I tried a different firewire cable but that did not solve the problem. I have no other devices that use firewire for me to test if the iMac's firewire port is the problem. And I don't have any other computers to connect my Handycam to for checking if the camera has the problem. Any suggestions?
iMovie HD tells me my Sony Handycam is not connected. It always worked before. ?
