Imaging device problems with laptop?

My imaging device is not working, i have all the steps i need to fix it. But the most important step is to locate the file "LVMVDRV.SYS" But for some unknown reason my laptop does not have this file?

Can anyone give me the answer to this? Much appreciated!

"Imaging device" - be specific, name the device, manufacturer and model number

also name the laptop (make and model)
