Images via Bluetooth to Mac

Hi,

I recently tried to send an image file from my Nokia E50 to my Mac Mini via Bluetooth and received the message "Connection Failed" on the phone. I have these 2 devices paired and Bluetooth is switched on on both devices. I know Mac doesn't support Nokia's PC Suite but that shouldn't be a problem as I'm using Bluetooth and not software for the transfer. Has anyone out there successfully transfered images via Bluetooth from a Nokia to a Mac? Any help would be great!

Thanks,
Seth

Restart and try again. I simply turn on both in discoverable mode. Go to gallery and pick your picture and press "send"

find your mac and select it and it will work. Im running 10.4.9

You might also want to consider "browsing" your device from the Mac. That is particularly helpful when you want to "grab" several files at once.

yeah.... i was also stunned that was posible. you can opn your device and thru the C and E drive (E being your memory card, you can drag and drop everything out of your phone onto the desktop... made me so happy!

How do I browse from my Mac to my phone (understanding of course that both are connected/paired via Bluetooth)? I know you can browse using a PC but via Bluetooth my phone doesn't show up in the finder...Please help...

Thanks,
Seth

on your display you should have a tool bar and select the bluetooth icon and select browse device

and least thats how it is on my macbook with OSX ver 10.4.9

Look up at the VERY TOP toolbar.....see the bluetooth symbol......click it.......select browse device......select your device

as said before C: is phone........E: is memory card
