I was contacted today bye my local child support office that after 2 years they were able to locate my ex-girlfriend for support. Now my ex-girlfriend owes support from a previous relationship. In addition she gave up custody of her middle child, a child that was also from another previous relationship. Yes, this makes 3 children she does not have in her custody. My questions is as follow: 1. What is the courts perception of a woman who has not paid child support for her children, esp. if the children are from different relationships? 2. Is the perception different for a woman as opposed to a man and why? 3. Child support services have located her before and she quit her job to keep from being served? 4. When the court looks at the case for my child for support will they also look at the current support order for her other child, will they consider this as a decision factor?
