My iMac g3 with a slit 4 CDs, running 10.2.8 came with NO discs or anything, just the computer, well it worked perfect for a day then when I went to restart it, it worked fine, it went to the apple logo with the little spinning wheel and then it loaded the mac osx logo and then just went to a blue blank screen with a black cursor at the top left corner of the screen and the cursor doesn't move and there's no icons or anything, someone please help me please

Wow that's an old computer. Starting to wish I hadn't gotten rid of mine seeing as they looked so cool.

Anyway, it sounds like maybe a few of your system files are corrupted. Seeing as it didn't come with any install or hardware test discs, the only thing you can do is try to find an old OS X disc on Ebay or somewhere else.

It's a Mac. You have to program your own operating system and then send it to apple for approval. Just kidding, I would say you need to get a new operating system and load it on the hard drive.
