I'm writing a book and I have a question?

Can you be arrested for opening a "hotel" for homeless (as in kicked out of their house), abused or runaway homosexual kids? One of my friends said it wouldn't be considered kidnapping.

Thanks ahead of time :)
**Somebody mentioned a "free" hotel. It totally would be free; like, a refuge :)

I would think you would need some kind of license to do something like that.

You can't "charge"... because minors aren't able to conduct business by signing lease agreements... so I'm not sure how you would fund your venture.

I see no reason why you couldn't run a "free shelter" and give refuge to anyone who needs it.

HEY... if schools can take part in under-age abortions and actively keep any disclosure from the parents..... WHY NOT allow a child - who is FREE to come and go - to stay in your shelter?

No, it is not recommendable. The owner of a facility can be held responsible if anything goes wrong. This is why it is best that the government open this kind of facility and not private organizations.
